Five years ago…
Five years ago, we were featured in the scholarly publication Hidden Champions in Dynamically Changing Societies (Springer, 2021). The authors identify companies that lead their niche markets globally yet remain under the radar. For MICRORISC, this was not only recognition of our journey so far but also a commitment: to prove that even in a small market, it is possible to develop world‑class technology solutions for global customers over the long term.

Where we’ve progressed (2019 – 2025)
- Smart Lighting & Smart Cities – Our Zhaga/NEMA controllers are certified, and joining the Society for Public Lighting Development (SRVO) confirms our expertise and commitment to open standards.
- IQAROS® 24/7 environmental guardian – Our wireless system for continuous temperature and humidity monitoring now protects buildings, warehouses, industrial sites, and clinics.
- Presidential visit – In April 2025, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, visited us – a symbolic acknowledgment of the importance of high‑tech companies outside capital cities.
- Ecosystem & open standard – The IQRF Alliance shares compatible projects and reference implementations. Our greatest technical achievement is defining the IQRF open communication standard for wireless mesh networks.
