MICRORISC s.r.o., the general partner of Morava Bike 2025, celebrates a major sporting triumph. Team “MICRORISC I” dominated this year’s edition of the relay cycling marathon and set a record time on the 315 km course. We lined up three teams at the start this year – and for all our riders it was an unforgettable experience.
The third edition of Morava Bike kicked off on Saturday evening, August 23, 2025, at the source of the Morava River. The route led all the way to Bratislava and offered everything that makes this event exceptional: night riding, rain, cold, and demanding terrain. In total, 53 riders set out on the course, both individuals and relay teams.
Victory in the relay race
Team MICRORISC I completed the 315 km course in a time of 11:49:05 and secured 1st place. The fastest performance for MICRORISC was delivered by Jakub Pospíšil, who conquered his 105 km stage in an incredible 3:12:22. Even CEO Vladimír Šulc joined the relay, proving that the DNA of MICRORISC includes not only innovation and hard work, but also sporting spirit and determination.
MICRORISC Challenge – a new call for partners
This year also saw the premiere of the MICRORISC Challenge, a friendly race for our partners, technology companies, and academic institutions. A total of 18 riders joined, and besides the experience, the winner received a very special prize – a demijohn of homemade mead crafted by MICRORISC CEO Vladimír Šulc.
Every kilometer helps
Beyond the sporting triumph, the race also carried a charitable dimension. MICRORISC pledged to donate 1 CZK for every kilometer ridden. In total, the riders covered more than 10,000 km, and the company multiplied the amount fivefold – presenting a cheque for 50,000 CZK to the Zdeňka Žádníková Endowment Fund. The money will help transform the environment of the pediatric intensive care unit at Hodonín Hospital into a friendlier place for young patients and their families. Organizers will continue developing this support, with the project scheduled for realization next year.
Sporting spirit and team pride
In addition to the winning team, two other MICRORISC relay teams took part, including a mixed team. Our colleague Šárka Nečesaná completed a demanding night stage with the support of her sister Veronika. Matěj Šulc, the youngest MICRORISC rider, bravely faced the toughest stage. The modern e-ride was also supported by our partner LEVIT Bikes – Veronika Nečesaná completed her stage on a Levit e-bike, supporting her sister, and impressively finished with 55% battery remaining.
“For MICRORISC, victory at Morava Bike 2025 is proof that even outside laboratories and development, we can perform as a united team. Sport, technology, and helping others have one thing in common – they push the limits,” said Vladimír Šulc, CEO of MICRORISC.
